What does Unicorn mean?

Unicorns symbolize innocence, purity of heart and and primal perfection. Where unicorns played, the land was said to be in eternal springtime. The creature's horn was believed to have vast magickal power including the ability to negate poisons ,bring peace, gentleness, courage, inner wisdom and healing. The Unicorn is depicted with the lion's tail and the goat's cloven hooves. This symbolizes the ability to break free from bondage. The additional image of a broken chain implies that, once free, the creature cannot be captured again. Most importantly, freedom.
